Hi, I’m Dr. mike zimmermann.

I am an Army Veteran who has focused my professional career on serving the mental health needs of active duty service members.

Originally enlisting as an Artilleryman and Paratrooper in 1996, I served an initial contract at Ft. Bragg, NC.  I was living in Fayetteville, NC on 9/11, and made the decision to return to service, but this time as a doctor.

I earned my PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). Commissioned on the anniversary of D-Day, I specialized in Trauma and Military Psychology.  I retired in 2021 from Active Duty and now serve Soldiers, Aviators of the Army and civilians through my private practice.
